Software Implementation Specialist - 09-24-2019 | Worklogic HR

Assists external clients in the implementation of technical systems, software, hardware or solutions. Evaluates client needs, develops configurations that support business processes. Defines and executes on delivery and implementation plans. Tests and troubleshoots final system setups. Provides training and end-user support during and after the implementation process. May be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations or provide assistance in scoping projects or developing proposals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.

Essential Job Functions

• Act as the primary point of contact with the client, sales, and service on assigned projects from the implementation of the project and with regard to the entire installation process. • Create and execute project plans, define and control project scope, and formulate and track project schedules.

• Ensure that consistent and updated information is disseminated to and between all respective departments and conduct meetings with internal resources as necessary. • Influence continuous improvement of project management methodologies

• Provide project coordination and management by defining system and project requirements • Identify potential non-compliance issues during the assessment process.

• Effectively document all aspects of the project and ensures information is easily accessible.

• Other duties as assigned or apparent.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven skill leading, assisting others in problem resolution, or acting as a resource for less experienced employees is preferred to perform the duties as described. • Proven ability to multi-task with a high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to effectively manage resources, track and complete projects before scheduled deadlines.

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills: relationship builder, empathetic and intuitive nature, articulate and professional. • Strong ability to interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

• Proven ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume is necessary and the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry is also required.

• Ability to define problems, collect and interpret data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to perform the functions as represented above.

Education and Experience

• BA degree in Business related degree, Computer Science, or Project Management or a related field or equivalent work experience is required.

• 2-3 years project management and customer service experience in a technical environment is required.

• PRISM experience a plus

• Proficient with MS Office suite

• Proven ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume is necessary and the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry is also required

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a customer service environment

Travel Requirements

• Travel may be required as needed.
